This position is responsible for providing professional-level administrative, operational, and organizational service to the office of Deputy/Assistant County Administrator. The role is responsible for performing a variety of complex secretarial and administrative duties to manage the day-to-day administrative support of the office. Â
Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Deputy County Administrator and is reviewed based on accuracy, timeliness and effectiveness of results achieved.

| Representative Duties /Assignments |
| |
Duties may vary based on area of assignment. The following are representative duties, it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification.
- Manages meetings and schedules the calendar of the Deputy/ Assistant County Administrator.
- Represents Deputy / Assistant County Administrator when screening calls and responding to inquiries from elected officials, government agencies, staff members, and the general public.
- Coordinates projects and completes special assignments involving highly confidential information. Works closely with various stakeholders in different departments.
- Researches, compiles, and analyzes data for use in complex reports, and presentations and meetings.
- Performs secretarial/administrative duties, to include filing, word processing, composing routine and non-routine memos and correspondence, and transcribing and taking dictation.
- Maintains the County Administrator’s calendar, to include scheduling appointments and meetings to assure time efficiency and priority.
- Coordinates travel arrangements, to include preparing travel requests and reimbursement forms.
- Performs other duties of a comparable level as assigned.

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
Graduation from High School or equivalent and six years of progressively responsible secretarial or administrative assistant experience; or an equivalent combination education and experience. |
