| General Functions |

This position is responsible for the general financial and budgetary operation of assigned area. Duties include revenue and expenditure monitoring, developing, distributing and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, and researching and resolving financial issues.
Work is performed under the general supervision of the assigned supervisor and is reviewed through meetings, conferences, reports, and results achieved. |

| Representative Duties /Assignments |

Duties may vary based on area of assignment. The following are representative duties, it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification.
- Analyzes Department and/or Division revenue and expenditure patterns and reports budget variance concerns.
- Researches and provides recommendations on complex financial issues.
- Oversees and/or participates in preparation of financial reports.
- Reviews financial reports for accuracy and resolves reporting issues.
- Reviews financial records to ensure proper documentation is being maintained.
- Assists assigned areas in the coordination of the budget process.
- Assists with the purchasing of goods and services.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or closely related field.
One (1) year experience in accounting, finance or budgeting.
In lieu of the degree requirements, additional relevant experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. |
