FILM OFFICE MARKETING COORDINATOR

General Functions
  

This position is responsible for developing and executing promotion and strategic marketing plans for the Orange County's Film Office. Manages marketing campaigns and analyzes industry trends. Ensures seamless and effective marketing strategies while building and maintaining relationships with partners and the film community.

Work is performed with considerable independence under the general supervision of Film Office Administrator. Performance is reviewed through observations, reports and results achieved.

 
Representative Duties /Assignments
  

Duties may vary based on area of assignment. The following are representative duties, it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification.

  • Builds and maintains the film office's brand identity across all marketing channels. Strives to increase the film office's visibility and engagement through creative and targeted strategies, activities and events.
  • Manages marketing activities including; writing marketing and strategic promotional plans, as well as creating project-specific presentations.
  • Participates in industry trade shows and networking events, organizes local community-building activities, and assists with familiarization tours.
  • Creates and maintains content for publications, brochures, social media, and other marketing materials.
  • Develops and maintains relationships in the film industry by attending film and TV-related events and representing the film office.
  • Analyzes market trends, audience demographics, and competitor strategies to inform campaign strategies and optimize performance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
 
Minimum Qualifications
  

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and three (3) years of experience in marketing and promotional activities. In lieu of the degree requirements additional relevant experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.

 
Preferences
  

A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Relations or a related field.

Experience in working with various social media platforms relating to marketing, data generation, and metrics.
