| Representative Duties /Assignments |
| |
Duties may vary based on area of assignment. The following are representative duties, it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification.
- Researches and compiles documentation based on the area of assignment.
- Participates in meetings and seminars to remain current on rules, regulations, laws, community resources which applies to their assigned position.
- Assists officers in managing a caseload including the processing of new files and closed cases.
- Prepares documents and reports and maintains statistical information.
- Assists in file audits.
- Conducts criminal history checks and researches case information.
- Researches and responds to requests for information.
- Operates and maintains standard office equipments.
- Performs data entry and retrieves information from various computer systems.
- Interfaces with offenders on behalf of officers as directed.
- Monitors low risk offender caseload as directed by the Unit Supervisor.
- Maintains training and Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) certification records for all department staff.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university and one year of experience in a Criminal Justice, Public Administration or Social Services setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. May be required to possess and maintain Florida Crime Information Center/ National Crime Information Center (FCIC/NCIC) certification. May be required to possess and maintain Florida Notary Public certification. |
