| |
Performs professional surveying and mapping work. Employees in this class perform duties requiring considerable initiative and independent judgment under the general direction of an assigned supervisor. |

| Representative Duties /Assignments |
| |
- Writes and reviews legal descriptions, sketches, boundary surveys, right-of-way maps and other related documents.
- Performs calculations and computer operations as needed to perform certified surveys of all kinds.
- Supervises technical support staff to achieve timely delivery of in-house survey and mapping information and products.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Surveying and Mapping, Geomatics, Engineering, Geography or other closely related field and one year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience. |
