This position is responsible for ordering, stocking and distributing parts used in maintaining and repairing vehicles and equipment.
Work is performed under general supervision and are generally subject to periodic supervisory checks.

| Representative Duties /Assignments |
| |
Duties may vary based on area of assignment. The following are representative duties, it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification.
- Orders parts, materials and supplies used in maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.
- Verifies receipt of invoiced parts, materials and supplies.
- Maybe required to utilize a purchasing card.
- Maintains and tracts inventory records on computer to ensure all parts and supply transactions are properly documented.
- Researches technical information concerning parts and supplies.
- Unloads, stores, transports, delivers and distributes parts, materials and supplies.
- Interacts with customers, vendors, and sales representatives.
- Follows up on items not received and checks on item prices and availability.
- Maintains a clean and organized parts storage and work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year automotive/equipment parts or supply clerk/purchasing/inventory or other related experience.
Forklift Certification required within six (6) months of employment.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver's license.
