BUSINESS SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE

General Functions
  

The Business Services Representative monitors the parking lots and assists in the collection of the parking revenue. This position may also assist in traffic management and carry out general office duties.

Work is performed under the general supervision of assigned Supervisor and is evaluated for attention to detail and accuracy through observations and work performance.

 
Representative Duties /Assignments
  

Duties may vary based on area of assignment. The following are representative duties, it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification.

  • Monitors parking spaces, patrols parking lots and relieves toll booth attendants.
  • Performs general office work.
  • Receives parking fees from public/attendees.
  • Meets the Center of Hospitality (CoH) standards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
 
Minimum Qualifications
  

High school graduate or equivalent and six (6) months cash handling or customer service experience. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience may be substituted.

Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License.

 
Preferences
  

Microsoft Office proficiency.

Hospitality industry and parking/traffic operations experience.

Experience in using a Two-Way Radio.

Experience in working with Automated Parking System.

Experience in operating a Point of Sale System.
