PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR

FLSA Status: Exempt 

General Functions
  

Coordinates major projects performed by the department, resolves customer complaints or refers to the appropriate person, and maintains department specific County records. This is responsible work in providing information in a timely, efficient and responsive manner.

Work is performed with independence under the supervision of the Department Manager or designee.

 
Representative Duties /Assignments
  

Duties may vary based on area of assignment. The following are representative duties, it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification.

  • Schedules and/or coordinates major projects for the department to ensure deadlines are met.
  • May report on project status such as budget, resources or customer service.
  • Researches materials for various projects from leadership.
  • Prepares departmental correspondence for publications and award submittals.
  • May prepare and submit progress or cost tracking reports.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
 
Minimum Qualifications
  

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Two (2) years of experience in customer service/relations.

In lieu of the degree requirements, additional relevant experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.  

 
Preferences
  

Computer experience

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
